Pythia was founded in 2016 by Carles Sala i Manuel Álvarez under the name of Pythia Consulting. Like the ancient Greek Pythia, we specialized in forecasting the future by using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies and providing consulting services to companies and organizations about how to use 4.0 technologies to solve their business problems.
In 2018, after partnering with the Data To AI Laboratory from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, we renamed ourselves to Pythia and became a Computer Science Research company. We focused on applying our Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering expertise into Automating Machine Learning, Generating Synthetic Data and using Machine Learning for Infomation Security.
In our most recent iteration, the Pythia brand has been renamed to Precognit to focus on the development of software products that leverage the precognitive capabilities of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to build software assistants that augment the capabilities of humanity.
